The Jordanian Medical Association in Germany (JORMED) successfully held its 4th Annual Conference in the city of Dortmund under the theme "Telemedicine", bringing together a large number of physicians and healthcare professionals from across Germany. The conference was honored by the presence of distinguished guests, keynote speakers, and experts from various medical and healthcare specialties.

Scientific Workshops

The conference commenced with a series of interactive scientific workshops focusing on practical skills and professional development, including:

• Airway Management in Emergency Cases, presented by Dr. Muhannad Al-Taleb.

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Course, presented by Dr. Ahmad Al-Jazi.

• Urinary Catheter Management and Insertion, presented by Dr. Ibrahim Ibrahim.

Scientific Program

The scientific program featured specialized lectures highlighting the latest applications of telemedicine across various medical specialties.

• Dr. Mohab Al-Shobaki delivered a presentation on Telemedicine in Emergency Care.

• Dr. Mahmoud Al-Najjar presented the latest developments in Telecardiology and the use of wearable health technologies.

• Dr. Mahmoud Al-Shdeifat discussed Telemedicine in Diabetes Management, supported by real-life case studies and practical experiences.

• Dr. Mohammad Al-Halabi presented the role of Telemedicine in Neurology and Neurosurgery.

• Dr. Tareq Dalbah delivered a lecture on the role of digital platforms in providing mental health services and psychological support.

• Dr. Enas Saleh and Dr. Rasha Abu Daqqa jointly presented a session addressing the challenges and opportunities faced by Arab female physicians in Germany in balancing their professional and family responsibilities.

The conference was also honored by the participation of His Excellency Mr. Faiz Khouri, Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Germany, Dr. Manar Al-Lawama, representing the Jordan Medical Council, and Dr. Mohammad Hassan Al-Tarawneh, representing the Jordan Medical Association. In their speeches, they emphasized the importance of strengthening scientific and professional cooperation between Jordan and Jordanian physicians in Germany, while supporting initiatives that promote knowledge exchange and professional collaboration.

The conference welcomed a number of distinguished official and academic figures, alongside prominent physicians and healthcare experts from Germany and Jordan. General Assembly and Board Elections

At the conclusion of the conference, the General Assembly of the Jordanian Medical Association in Germany (JORMED) convened. The outgoing Board of Directors officially submitted its resignation following the completion of its term of office and expressed its sincere appreciation to all association members for their trust and continuous support.

The General Assembly subsequently held elections for a new Board of Directors in a positive and democratic atmosphere. The election results were as follows:

Closing Dinner

The conference concluded with a networking dinner that brought together participants, guests, and speakers in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The gathering provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen professional relationships, exchange experiences, and foster friendship and cooperation among members of the Association and Jordanian physicians in Germany.
